Here you will find the terms and conditions that define the rules and regulations for using the Praça-ri

A Praça-riis a digital space dedicated to promoting and enhancing the products of the Ribatejo Interior, selling local produce and encouraging direct contact between producers and consumers.

TAGUS – Associação para o Desenvolvimento Integrado do Ribatejo Interior (Association for the Integrated Development of the Ribatejo Interior), recognizing the quality of products from the Ribatejo Interior, but aware that, on their own, the efforts of small producers to reach potential customers in this way are too great, has applied for operation 10.2.1.4 – short chains and local markets, of the National Rural Development Program (PDR2020), part of Portugal 2020, co-financed by the EAFRD – European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, to enable it to support these actors in its area of intervention in the sale of their products through the following channels e-commerceThis is how Praça do Ribatejo Interior was born, fostering contact between those who produce and those who consume, making products more accessible to any part of the country.


A Praça-ri and all its contents are the property of TAGUS – Associação para o Desenvolvimento Integrado do Ribatejo Interior, with its registered office at Rua Dom António Prior do Crato, nº135, 2200-086 ABRANTES, with VAT number 503 265 276.

The purchase of products from the Praça-ri Online Shop is subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Object

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions, together with the order form and the other elements referred to therein, are intended to regulate the terms and conditions governing the provision of the Service in the Praça-riça Online Shop. Praça-ri

1.2 The purchase of any product from the Praça-ri Online Store implies acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

1.3 Access to the Praça-ri Online Shop is free of charge and does not require prior subscription.

1.4 The alcoholic beverages available for sale in the Praça-ri can only be purchased by individuals who are of legal age in their country of residence.

2. Product, Price and Content Information

2.1 A Praça-ri reserves the right to modify, in conjunction with its producers, without prior notice and at any time, the information and commercial offer presented on: products, prices, promotions, commercial conditions and services.

2.2 Items for sale in the online store are subject to existing stock and orders will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of a temporary or permanent stock-out, the customer will be duly notified and an alternative product with similar characteristics will be suggested.

2.3 In accordance with Portuguese legislation, product prices are indicated in € (euros) and include VAT at the legal rate in force, as well as the cost of packaging. Transport costs for the customer are not included.

3. Where can I order?

A Praça-ri does not allow orders to be placed via social media, telephone, email or any other means other than the online store.

4. Where can I pick up my order?

Once you have placed your order, it can be delivered to your home or another address (postage will be charged) and will be dispatched within two working days of payment.

You can also pick it up after payment, free of postage, within 5 days at one of the following three collection points:

5. Ordering and payment

5.1 To make a purchase from the Praça-ri Once registered, the user can place their order by selecting the products they want. You must follow all the steps described in the order form in order for the order to be completed successfully.

5.2 Once the order has been confirmed in the Praça-ri Online Store, you must select the payment method you want, from the options available: Multibanco, MB WAY.

Any order placed in the Praça-ri will only be processed once payment has been received. Placing an order does not in itself constitute a reservation of products.

5.3 Once the order has been confirmed in the Praça-rian e-mail will be sent to the contact address registered by the customer when the order was placed, with all the details on delivery, invoicing and payment information. If the customer does not receive the order confirmation e-mail, they are asked to contact Praça-ri by calling 241 106 000 (national landline) or by emailing geral@praca-ri.pt/ encomendas@praca-ri.pt

5.4 Changes to the conditions of unshipped orders or the cancellation of an unshipped order can be made upon request by emailing encomendas@praca-ri.pt.

5.5 Orders placed by users from countries outside the European Union must be validated in advance by Praça-ri’s online store customer service. Only after this validation will the order process begin.

5.6 Orders will only be dispatched after confirmation of stock and payment and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

5.7 If an order cannot be fulfilled in part or in full, the customer will be contacted immediately by Praça-ri via telephone or e-mail.

5.8 After receiving the order details, the user has 3 working days to make the payment. If you do not do so within this period, the order will be automatically canceled.

5.9 The Online Shop Praça-ri offers users the following payment methods: Multibanco, MB WAY.

5.10 Payments are received in euros, regardless of the currency in which the transaction is made. Conversion fees for payments made in other currencies will have to be borne by the customer.

6. Payment methods

6.1 MB WAY

MB WAY is an interbank solution that allows you to pay for your order quickly and conveniently via your cell phone. All you need to do is use the MB WAY application and link your bank card to your cell phone number at MULTIBANCO.

The Mbway service is provided and processed by IFTHENPAY.

6.2 MULTIBANK

At the end, our entity number (xxxxxx), the reference (xxx xxx xxx) and the amount to be paid will appear. The order will be sent upon receipt of payment. Payment must be made at any cash machine, via the Internet or any other place that accepts this type of payment. Within 72 hours (3 days) to make the payment. After this period, without payment having been made, the order will be canceled. If the product sells out between the order and payment period, the amount paid will be refunded.

8. Shipping

8.1 Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated automatically by our system and depend on the weight of the order and the carrier’s tariff. (Mainland Portugal only)

If there are any shipping restrictions (e.g. geographical) they must be clearly stated, both on the website and at the start of the ordering process.

8.2 Shipping

With a few exceptions, all completed orders will be dispatched within 4 working days of payment. At times like Christmas and Easter it can take up to 8 days.

If there are any questions relating to the order (delivery address, payment confirmation, products out of stock, etc.), the user will be contacted through Customer Service (via telephone or email). If contact is not possible, we will wait three working days for a response from the user. The order will not be sent until we have received a reply. If no response is received within this period, the order will be canceled and the amount paid will be refunded.

8.3 Delivery

Once the order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and the corresponding invoice.

You can receive your order wherever you want, except at post offices. The best option is to choose an address where someone is always there between 9am and 7pm to receive you. Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose a specific delivery time, as this is conditioned by the route defined by the carrier for the day of delivery. If you can’t be at the location within these hours, you can always choose our Pick-up Point service and pick up at the location of your choice at the time that is most convenient for you.

Providing a delivery address where it was not possible, or incorrect or incomplete contact details may result in the order being returned to our warehouse, resulting in additional costs for the consumer. We recommend that you always check the information you have entered before finalizing your order. Remember that the address is made up of the street/avenue, house number, floor, zip code and town. Once your order has been processed, it is no longer possible to change the delivery address or billing details.

8.4 Delivery deadlines

Delivery times are always the responsibility of the transport companies.

In mainland Portugal, deliveries are made within 2 working days of dispatch. There are some exceptional situations that can delay delivery times, such as peak order times (e.g. Black Friday, Christmas and New Year’s Eve), remote destinations, etc.

Delivery times are indicative and are therefore only considered valid when there are no physical or structural impediments (e.g. incorrect addresses or force majeure events such as strikes, loss of connection, bad weather, etc.).

9. Returns and Exchanges

9.1 Return

The customer has 14days to return the product or cancel the contract, without having to specify a reason, and will only have to pay the return costs.

Returns will not be accepted for, among others: Personalized, sealed products which cannot be returned, which deteriorate easily or reach their expiration date quickly.

9.2 Reimbursement

It must be made by the same means of payment used for the payment, without prejudice to the customer, withina maximum of 14 days. If a refund is requested using a method other than the payment method, Praça-ri will not have to refund any additional costs.

9.3 Purchase

Before completing the purchase, the customer should be aware of all the costs inherent in the order: price of the product, taxes, shipping costs and other charges, if any, and should check all these elements in the order confirmation email.

10. Alternative dispute resolution

Consumers have the right to complain about the products or services they have purchased, just as they do in any physical establishment. To this end, the following standards are met:

  • Website link to Electronic Complaint Book Platform .
  • Indication on the website of the list of Arbitral Tribunals that can mediate and arbitrate these cases.
  • Indication of the applicable Alternative Dispute Resolution Center.
